This Term Mrs Lawry, Mrs Harding and Ms Macey will be taking their classes to Kings Park on Tuesday 23rd October.
This excursion has been planned to supplement the following work being completed in your son’s/daughter’s classroom:
To provide a meaningful exploration of WA history and Aboriginal culture through a fun, team building experience.
Children will take part in an educational activity based around aboriginal culture which will be led by the Kings Park Education Centre.
The children will also be led on guided walks which focus on a variety of historic and cultural features of Kings Park.
The cost of the excursion is $15
The students will depart from school at 9am and return to school at 2.30pm
Travel will be by bus.

Special clothing or other items required:
A labelled backpack that zips up – there are crafty crows always looking for a free lunch so bags need to be zipped.
Apply sunscreen before school.
Dress your child in shorts or a skort – no leggings or long pants as they will be in water at some time during the excursion.
Your child needs comfortable sneakers or walking shoes – sandals are not suitable.
Children will need their lunch and recess in a secure container and a water bottle both with their name clearly marked on it.
They will also need to bring a hat, jumper and a rain coat if rain has been forecast.
A change of clothes in their backpack with a small hand towel in case they get wet – Please label all items.
The excursion will still go ahead if the weather is poor. Please label all items.
