The year 5/6 class have been looking at the world’s cultural diversity with a focus on the different cultures within our own class. We have designed a multicultural flower garden using flowers that are predominate in each of the countries the student’s families originate from. We planted the flowers in the outer sections of the garden bed with native Australian everlastings running through the centre of each all leading to the middle which is full of everlastings. The idea was to represent us all travelling from the four corners of the world and coming together to meet up in this wonderful country we now call home – Australia.
The flower bed is situated outside B Block.
