In the Upper Years, we have a rigorous evidence based English Block that ensures every child in the school receives two hours of English instruction every day. This includes:
- Spelling (Spelling Mastery)
- Writing (Talk for Writing)
- Reading (Vocabulary, Fluency, Novel Study, and Knowledge Building through Core Knowledge Units
In addition, for those who require it, we also deliver intervention programs for students who need additional support, and for students who are being extended.
In Maths, we utilise the evidence-based program Stepping Stones (Origo Mathematics) to support Teachers to deliver outstanding instruction every day and promote high level learning for every student in the school.
